SHILLONG, Sep 22: Preparations for the 2nd Sohra International Half Marathon Run warms up with early arrival of two international half marathon runners from Kenya, Elijah Kipruto Kemei, Kenya, age 35, his best time is 1hr 5mins, he has participated in a number of marathons such as Mumbai 2018, China 2019, Sohra International Half Marathon 2022, Udaipur 2023 and Gujarat 2023
AgnesMueni Mutua, Kenya, aged 36, her best time for the 21k is 1hr14 mins she has earlier participated in Tanzania 2022, Rwanda 2023 and now for her first time here in India
They both reported at the MSOA office on evening of 22nd September 2023 to meet Finely L Pariat Organising Secretary and John F Kharshiing Co-Chairman 2nd Sohra International Half Marathon 2023,
They have come early to aclamatise themselves with the climate and the terrain.
