SHILLONG, Sep 29: 3rd Meghalaya State level Yogasana Sports Championship 2023-24 was held on Friday at Rympei Ki Paidbah Auditirium, Pynthorbah, Shillong-1 Participants from all the district Yogasana sports associations took part in the championship.
All together 40 participants from 3 districts of Meghalaya contested for the top positions.
Yogasana events like: Traditional, Artistic and Rhythmic were challenged by the young athletes. Chief Guest during the occasion was Sri O. Mawthoh, District Sports Officer; East Khasi Hills, who expressedhis happiness to witness such a traditional sports in person. Special guest from Assam Bikash Goswami, Executive member of Yogasana Bharat made a special visit during the Championship. The selected athletes from Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior both boys and Girls category were awarded medals.
