JHADC staff protest against non-payment of salary

Jowai, Oct 4: The Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) staff under the banner of Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council Staff Association (JHADCSA) come out today holding flags and banners in protest against salary deferment.
The whole community of JHADC employees while expressing their grief owing to the delay in approval of their monthly salary of over 10 months hitherto in the accompaniment of a group of teachers denouncing the Council’s concerned authority for the tardiness in paying their dues.
Johnson Pohrmen President Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council Staff Association (JHADCSA) reminded that in a meeting, the Deputy CM Smiawbhalang Dhar in June had promised  to endorse all pending amounts by September but it has ended up as a broken promise.

JHADCSA further urged the government to free them of their financial crisis by paying their dues else alternative agitation will be resorted upon soon.
