Sohra cops rescue tourists from gorges of Nohkalikai

SHILLONG, Oct 3: Two tourists were rescued by a team of Sohra police from the gorges of Nohkalikai falls, East Khasi Hills on Tuesday.
The duo—Advani Soni and Abhishek Jamwal from Vadodra, Gujarat lost their way in the gorges of the falls. On receiving the information, a team from Sohra police station led by WPSI Vandana Diengdoh was dispatched.
A thorough search was conducted and rescue operation got underway and after hours, the team was successful in locating the duo and rescued them.
