Bodies of two ‘missing’ youths recovered

SHILLONG, Oct 4: The bodies of two “missing” youths were recovered from Marbisu in East Khasi Hills. The two youths, Phibankyntiew Sun (18) and Wanboklang Kurbah (20), were reported as missing since September 20.
Phibankyntiew’s body was noticed by some fishermen on Monday after which police retrieved the body from the river the next day.
On Wednesday morning, police also recovered Wanboklang’s body from a place not far off from where the girl’s body was retrieved.
Police are looking into all angles, including suicide.
