WKH Police honour martyrs

NONGSTOIN, Oct 22: The Police department of West Khasi Hills on Saturday observed Police Commemoration Day to remember and honour the martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
The day was marked with a two-minute silence, a wreath-laying ceremony, and a commemoration parade by the police.
The programme was held at the office of the Superintendent of Police, West Khasi Hills, and was attended by district Deputy Commissioner Garod LSN Dykes, SP Bikram D. Marak, Lakador Syiem MPS, Commandant 4th MLP Bn Sohpian, Donkupar Moksha, Addl. SP HQ, H Kharkohngor, Addl. SP Crime, SDPO Mawshynrut, Issac Marak, school students, teachers, and relatives of the martyrs, among others.
