Vinod Kamble’s Kastoori to release in theatres on November 3
Filmmaker Vinod Kamble’s Kastoori will be released in theatres on November 3, the makers announced on Thursday. The movie, which had won the National Award for best children’s film in 2019, is being presented by filmmakers Anurag Kashyap and Nagraj Manjule. It will be distributed by Cinepolis Distribution team. Kastoori, titled The Musk in English, follows the story of a 14-year-old boy, who is engaged in manual scavenging and post-mortem and is prejudiced and teased for the smell of his body. It depicts how the young boy comes across the scent of Kastoori and struggles for education and discovery of self. Kashyap called the movie an ‘important film of our times’. (PTI)
Kangana visits Ram temple in Ayodhya ahead of Tejas release
The Ram temple will become ‘the biggest place of holy pilgrimage for Hindus’, said actor Kangana Ranaut on Thursday after she visited the shrine to seek blessings for her upcoming film Tejas. The temple plays a pivotal role in Tejas, set to be released in theatres on Friday and featuring Ranaut in the role of an Indian Air Force pilot, added the actor. “What the Vatican City is to Christians, the Ram Temple of Ayodhya will become the biggest place of holy pilgrimage for Hindus. We will see it become such a grand temple, something that the Hindus have wished for since centuries. It will become a grand symbol of our country and a beautiful link to Sanatan culture in the world,” Ranaut told reporters here. (PTI)

Actress Anushka Sharma shared a picture flaunting her baby bump amid rumours of her pregnancy. Though the couple is tight lipped about this, it has been speculated by netizens that this will be her and Virat Kohli’s second child after their daughter Vamika. Teasing the pregnancy though not confirming it, the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress posted the picture of her first pregnancy alongside another photo. She gave a tribute to the actress’ erotic look from the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer film Rasha has gained her mother’s looks as she was able to successfully recreate Raveena’s look from Aks. Donning the exact same costume from the song Yeh Raat, she went on to recreate the dance in a small post on her Instagram. While imitating the moves, she was also posing in a glamorous light with Neha Kakkar’s song Kar Gayi Chull in the background.
