Wangala: Traffic arrangements

TURA, Nov 8: The West Garo Hills Police has notified new traffic arrangements to be in place from November 9 to 11 in view of the 100 Drums Wangala Festival to be held at Baljek Airport.
As per the notification, Baljek Airport Runway at Jengjal has been fixed as parking for VVIPs and delegates (officials), two parking spots near the venue for two-wheelers, Baljek Airport Runway for 3 and 4-wheelers and a field near the right side at the entrance of the venue for HMV and bus only.
The stretch of road from NH-217 Baljek to Jengjal Tri-junction has been declared a ‘No Parking Zone’. For any inquiries and assistance, citizens have been requested to contact the police control room — 8837423053 and 9089199064.
