Tura, Dec 17: TMC MLA from Rajabala, Dr Mizanur Rehman Kazi has written to the executive engineer of PHE (Tura North Division) seeking a joint site visit to the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) project undertaken in the village of Nekikona in the constituency.
In a letter to the PHE EE with a copy to the PHE Chief engineer, sent today, Dec 17, the TMC MLA stated that a lot of discrepancies have been brought to his notice over the project that entailed augmentation of the project under JJM. These complaints have also been put forward by various NGOs of the area.
“In the best interest of the people I will be visiting the project on Dec 21 and as such would request you along with your staff to also be present for a joint visit, with an approved plan estimate copy to verify the progress of the work in question,” stated Dr Kazi.
