SHILLONG, Jan 5: A notice has been pasted on shops threatening locals who have employed non-tribal workers in the whole of Sohra and Shella areas. Police are making efforts to identify the culprits responsible for this act.

The notice asks the non-tribal workers to be removed from Sohra and Shella.
The Sohra police on Friday removed all the notices from the shops.
When contacted, a senior police official said that they have taken up a suo motu case.
“Efforts are on to identify and book the culprits,” the official added.
