Govt effects bureaucratic rejig

SHILLONG, Jan 10: The state government on Wednesday announced a minor reshuffle with the transfer and replacement of five bureaucrats.
According to a notification, R C Sohkhlet has been relieved of her post as Registrar, of Cooperative Societies. M Chandra, Deputy Commissioner, North Garo Hills has been transferred and posted as Registrar, Cooperative Societies and as Deputy Secretary to the Planning Investment Promotion and Sustainable Development Department.
H Nayak, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sohra Civil Sub-Division is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Home (Police) and Home (Political) Departments.
A K Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Amlarem Civil Sub-Division has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of North Garo Hills.
A Gowda, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dadenggre Civil Sub-Division is not Deputy Secretary to the Forests and Environment Department.
