She will lay the foundation stones of tourist accommodations in the villages of Kongthong, Mawlyngot, and Kudengrim too.
The President is scheduled to reach Shillong from the Garo Hills on Tuesday at around 12.30 pm.
Murmu will directly move to Mawphlang to visit Law Kyntang. After the Mawphlang function, she will attend a civic reception to be hosted in her honour by the Meghalaya government at the Raj Bhavan in Shillong.
The President will inaugurate the Meghalaya Games at the PA Sangma Stadium in Tura on Monday.
Sylvester Nongtnger, the Superintendent of Police of East Khasi Hills, said there will be certain restrictions on vehicular movement due to the route taken by the President to Law Kyntang.
“The general public is hereby requested to avoid travelling towards Mawngap and in and around Shillong city unless necessary. Vehicular traffic will be halted for 30 minutes before the arrival of the VVIP on 16 January at all traffic junctions,” he said.

He urged the public to avoid travelling on the Umshyrpi- Upper Shillong- Mawphlang route on Monday.
Meanwhile, in preparation for the arrival of the President, Governor Phagu Chauhan on Sunday inspected all departments of the Raj Bhavan. The exercise was undertaken to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay of the President.
