Delphic Council of Northeast launches newsletter

SHILLONG, Jan 27: A digital Newsletter of the Delphic Council of Northeast, North East Digest was launched at a function on Friday.
The event was attended by Ramesh Prasanna, Secretary General of International Delphic Council and Ashok Singh, Secretary General of Delphic Council of India and others.
Secretary General of Delphic Council of Northeast, Dr Sanjib Kumar Borkakoti moderated the event.
It may be mentioned that Delphic Council is an international organisation with its headquarter in Berlin.
According to statement, Delphic Council organises games on art and culture and has been promoting art and culture of Northeast India.
The North East Digest has been edited by Dr Chittaranjan Nath and produced by Papu Das.
They presented the Newsletter in the event, assisted by Dr Sanjib Kumar Borkakoti.
It contains reports of activities by DCNE in the recent period, in addition to articles on cultures of the Northeast.
It contains articles by Dilip Changkakoty, and the Editor of The Shillong Times Patricia Mukhim etc.
Honours received by members like Dr Partha Sarathi Mahanta, Dr Meena Longjam etc have been described in the newsletter.
Ramesh Prasanna inaugurated the newsletter and said that there was great activism in Delphic Council of Northeast.
Ashok Singh hoped that the rich cultural wealth of Northeast would get exposure through the newsletter. Deepika Murthy, who attended from the head office of Delphic Counicl in Berlin, lauded the quality of the newsletter and appreciated the effort of DCNE.
The Newsletter describes the activities of DCNE since its inception in 2021. Different collaboration activities with ICOMOS, Society for Srimanta Sankaradeva, Brilliante Piano Festival etc have been described in details in the Newsletter.
Prominent Delphians from different parts of India and abroad attended the online event.
