Stolen

Miscreants reportedly stole one motorcycle (ML-05U-3831) belonging to Donborlang Marboh from Jelly Shop, Nongthymmai, on February 1 around 4 am.
B Marbañiang complained that on the night of January 30, miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05U-6867), parked on the roadside near his residence at Umdabor, Lumjingsuk.

Illegal activity

Forest Range Officer, Williamnagar informed police that one Tata Sumo (ML-08D-5840) was found transporting timbers on February 1. Later, the vehicle was recovered from Bawegre village in West Garo Hills. Further, during the inquiry police also found one illegal sawmill reportedly belonging to one Breznev LR Marak of Bawegre, and forty-eight timber logs. The Forest Department has been informed about the matter.

Stone pelting

Santosh R Marak lodged a complaint that on the night of January 28, around 7 to 8 people pelted stones at his house at Aruakgre village in North Garo Hills, destroyed the areca nut plantation, damaged the chairs and also attempted to break the main door of his house. However, the complainant could identify only three of the accused persons as residents of the village.
