JOWAI, May 16: A district-level Science, Mathematics and Environment exhibition, thematised on ‘Science and Technology for Society’, was held on Thursday at Jaintia Eastern College, Khliehriat.
Organised by the Office of the District School Education Officer, East Jaintia Hills, the exhibition was participated by students from different schools in the district.
During the day-long exhibition, students displayed as well as elaborated their models, which covered different topics, some of which included sand battery energy, rainwater harvesting, geothermal power plant, neutralisation of acid water, etc.
After the programme, certificates and mementoes were handed over to the winners and runners-up of the exhibition.
