Office-bearers
Geetali, a social organisation, in its biennial general body meeting on Sunday, elected its new office-bearers for 2024-26. They are CA Sudip Purkayastha (president), Bishwarup Choudhary, Bijit Biswas and Bikash Kar (vice presidents), Ganapada Ghosh (general secretary) and other members. At the meeting, the General Secretary Report and Audit Report were passed by the members.
Condolence
Shillong City Youth Wing of the United Democratic Party has expressed grief at the sudden demise of Kerry Kupar Lyngdoh, who was the assistant general secretary of the youth wing. In a statement issued here, the youth wing conveyed its deepest condolence to the bereaved family.
