Shillong, Aug 8: The Meghalaya Cricket Association, through its ad hoc selection committee, has shortlisted 25 U-19 men for the BCCI 2024-25 domestic season.
The selection was made on the basis of BCCI 2023-24 domestic season performances and MCA selection matches held recently in Jagiroad, Assam.
The U-19 men’s team will be involved in two prestigious tournaments – the Vinoo Mankad Trophy (one day) and Cooch Behar Trophy (multi-day). In 2023-24, the Cooch Behar Trophy was one of the first highlights of a very successful season for the state; Meghalaya had qualified for the final of the Plate Group, finishing the season as runners-up.
