Penultimate round of M’laya Youth League matches today

Shillong, Sep 13: The penultimate round of round robin matches in Zones B and D will take place in the Meghalaya Youth League 2024 on Saturday.
Due to a few matches having to be rescheduled, Zone C still has some way to go and Zone A has already completed their fixtures.
The big clash in Zone B will be between leaders West Jaintia District Sports Association and Amlarem Block Sports Association at the Kiang Nangbah Stadium in Jowai.
Zone D has two teams on 17 points each in the U-14 category – Nongstoin District Sports Association will be travelling to Mawshynrut Sports Association, while Pyndengumiong District Sports Association host Mawkyrwat District Sports Association.
Eastern Border Sports Association, who are chasing leaders Nongstoin in the U-16 category, will host Tyrsad Area Sports Association.
In Shillong, the Shillong Sports Association will host Western Ri-Bhoi in the U-16 category, while Sohra Sports Association’s U-14 and U-16 teams head to Ri-Bhoi District Sports Association.
As the penultimate round of the Meghalaya Youth League 2024 approaches, the excitement is palpable across Zones B and D, with crucial matches set to determine the final standings. On Saturday, the spotlight will be on the Zone B clash between the table-toppers, West Jaintia District Sports Association, and the formidable Amlarem Block Sports Association, with the game taking place at the Kiang Nangbah Stadium in Jowai. This match could be pivotal in shaping the final standings for Zone B, making it a must-watch for fans and pundits alike.In Zone D, the competition is equally fierce, especially in the U-14 category where Nongstoin District Sports Association and Pyndengumiong District Sports Association both sit on 17 points.
