Shillong, Oct 30: Twenty-six girls will take part in final selection trials from tomorrow to make it to the Meghalaya Cricket Association’s U-15 girls’ team.
The MCA has released a list of eligible girls who have cleared the TW-3 age verification test and these will now attend the final selection trials to be held in Nongkhrah, Ri-Bhoi on October 30 to November 1. Reporting time on the first day is 7:30am. Once the trials are over, a list of 15 players with standbys will be declared and a preparatory camp held for them from 2 to 17 November, also at Nongkhrah, ahead of the BCCI’s U-15 Women’s One Day Tournament. Twenty-one of the girls cleared the test earlier this month, while five were still eligible for the U-15 category on the basis of their test last year.
