Majestic Dance Academy wins big at Step Battle Dance – Season 1 finale

SHILLONG, Dec 3: The grand finale of a dance competition titled ‘Step Battle Dance – Season 1’, organised by the Don Bosco Media Network and Don Bosco Youth Center (DBYC), Laitumkhrah, concluded on a high note on Tuesday.
Majestic Dance Academy emerged as the winner, claiming the top prize of Rs 90,000 and a trophy. Megha Warriors secured second place with Rs 45,000, while ACE Merakis took third place, winning Rs 15,000.
The competition featured six teams and highlighted exceptional talent through solo and group performances. The event saw chief guest Rev. Anthony Kharkongor, Principal of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, as chief guest,  who encouraged participants to pursue ambitious goals and embrace dance as a career path.
Rev. Father Michael Makri, SDB, Director of Don Bosco Media Network, announced upcoming events, including a Christmas Carol Competition on December 23 and ‘Sur Kynud Season 3’, a singing contest, set to begin on December 14, 2024, carrying a grand prize of Rs 1 lakh.
