Shillong, Dec 5: The Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) Central Executive Committee has released its first list of eight candidates for the upcoming elections on Thursday.
The candidates include Thomas Passah, party working president, who will contest from Jaiaw constituency. Other contenders are Joseph H Pyngrope (Sohryngkham), Pynshai Mawrie (Mawkynrew), Banplieborlang Mawroh (Langkyrdem-Laitkroh), Peter Challam (Laitumkhrah-Malki), Raymond Basaiawmoit (Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah), Lasuklang War (Shella), and Baristar Poul Thyrniang (Mawkyrwat).
