Cleaning drive
The Dorbar Shnong Wahingdoh will hold its annual cleaning drive in the locality from 7 am to 1 pm on December 7. In a statement, the Dorbar Shnong secretary, Farewell Nongkynrih, requested all the residents of the locality to come out in huge numbers to participate in the annual cleaning drive. Nongkynrih informed that the Dorbar Shnong also decided to prohibit the parking of vehicles along the roadside of the locality during the hours of the cleaning drive.

The Dorbar Shnong, Lower Lumparing, will organise a cleaning drive in the locality from 8 am to 1 pm on December 7. In this regard, no entry will be imposed in different places of the area during the cleaning drive.

Immunisation
The Health Department will carry out an intensified pulse polio immunisation programme from December 9 to 11 for children in the age group of 0-5 years in East Garo Hills district. A statement in this regard informed that immunisation programme is being implemented in the district with an aim to eradicate polio. The department has also urged parents to support and cooperate with the initiative.
