EKH cops nab duo, recover contraband items

SHILLONG, Dec 12: The East Khasi Hills police have apprehended two drug traffickers, including a woman, at Umphyrnai under the jurisdiction of Madanriting Police Station, and seized heroin from their possession. The police operation was carried out following a tip-off.
The accused have been identified as Dontanglian (39) and Chingneilun, both residents of Manipur.
The items that were confiscated from the duo include ten soap boxes containing suspected heroin weighing 106.06 grams, along with two mobile phones.
