SHILLONG, Dec 18: The 20th Shillong Wine Festival will commence on December 20 and continue till December 21 at Ward’s Lake, Shillong.
In a statement, Forever Young General Secretary M Thabah announced that fruit winemakers from across Meghalaya will gather to showcase their finest homemade wines during the two-day festival.
Thabah emphasised that participation in the festival is subject to strict regulations.
“It is compulsory for every winemaker to possess a Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) certificate and a license from the concerned authority to participate,” he said.
