Programme on advanced management devp at NIT

SHILLONG, March 15: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya successfully hosted a programme from March 10 to 14 which focused on three key topics of Advanced Management Development programme — Data Science and AI for Management Development, ESDP awareness-cum-training in Solid Waste Management — Path to Entrepreneurship and Skill Development for Women in Northeast India, and AESDP-3D Modeling and 3D Printing.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), the programme was inaugurated by Satinder K Bhalla, Deputy Director General, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications, who was the chief guest, and guest of honour Bijit Goswami, Executive Director, Tech-Operation and Maintenance, North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited, under the leadership of Director Prof Pinakeswar Mahanta.
Expert speakers from Indian Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Management, National Institute of Fashion Technology, North-Eastern Hill University, and leading industry associates delivered insightful lectures, attracting professionals from across the country.
