JOWAI, April 15: The All Hynñiewtrep People United Front (AHPUF) has submitted a letter to the Executive Engineer of MeECL, Jowai, demanding the replacement of a transformer at Lumpyrtuh Mihmyntdu, located near Manish Marble.
In a statement, jointly issued by its president J. Phawa and secretary W. Langwar, the organisation stated that the transformer is currently in a state of disrepair and poses a danger to not only the local passersby but also the ones whose houses are located close to the transformer.
In view of this, the organisation has urged the MeECL to take immediate action and replace the transformer entirely.
