Former DHS injured in road mishap

Shillong, April 26: Former Director of Health Services, Aman War was injured after being hit by a scooty near the Centenary Junction at around 7.30 pm on Friday. The scooty was being ridden by Kunal Singh, who was heading towards Barik Point.
Dr. War and the rider sustained injuries and were taken to the Shillong Civil Hospital.
Dr. War was admitted for further treatment. The rider sustained injuries to his right hand and elbow and had reportedly consumed alcohol.
After receiving first aid, the rider was discharged from the hospital.
Police have seized the scooty and initiated further legal proceedings.
