APS shines in CBSE Class X, XII results

SHILLONG, May 13: Army Public School (APS) Shillong has once again achieved commendable performances in the CBSE Class XII and Class X examinations of 2025, the results of which were declared on Tuesday.
A total of 181 students appeared for the Class XII All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination, with 36 students scoring 90% and above in aggregate. The top scorer in the Humanities stream was Hope Isabel Syiem, who secured an impressive 96.6% overall and a perfect 100 in Psychology.
In the Humanities stream, Dishita Pokhriyal stood second with 96.2%, while Monet Rao Chyne secured third place with 95.8%.
In the Commerce stream, Satyajit Dey topped with 95.6% aggregate, also achieving a perfect 100 in Informatics Practices. Mohit Deb and Nishan Marshall DK shared the second position with 93.6%, while Amebari Kharchandy stood third with 92.6%.
The Science stream was led by Mayank Kumar Yadav, who scored 96.0%. Samaira Mishra came second with 95.4%, followed by Kennedy Dondor Ric with 95.2%.
In the Class X All India Secondary School Examination, Patton Sagolsem topped the school with 91.2%, while Khushi Bhardwaj and Romit Deb followed with 90.8% and 89.5%, respectively.
The school also celebrated several perfect scores across subjects. Addiel Johanan Sur scored 100 in Economics; Ashmita S Chanda in Psychology; Ishaan Singhania and Satyajit Dey in Informatics Practices; and Emsame Shallam, Yagna Lamsal, Gargi Dey, and Deepraj Das in Computer Science.
The School Administration and Managing Committee, Principal, Vice Principal, and faculty members extended their heartfelt congratulations to all the achievers of Classes X and XII, acknowledging their dedication and hard work that continue to uphold the school’s tradition of academic excellence.
