MLCU is best pvt varsity in M’laya

SHILLONG, June 16: Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU) has been ranked first among private universities in Meghalaya in the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) for 2025.
The university has also earned positions as the second among private universities in the Northeast and 62nd among private universities in India.
With this, MLCU has emerged as the highest-ranked private university in Northeast India, placing it firmly among the top 100 universities nationwide.
A statement from MLCU said that this recognition reflects the university’s growing reputation for academic excellence, innovation, and its commitment to producing graduates aligned with workforce needs.
The IIRF 2025 rankings are based on a comprehensive assessment across parameters such as academic strength, research output, industry engagement, placement performance, and overall institutional perception.
Over 2,500 institutions, including more than 500 private universities, were evaluated nationwide.
The IIRF is one of the most respected higher education rankings in India, conducted by Education Post. It serves as a key reference for students, parents, and institutions looking for academic excellence and industry relevance.
