Vehicle handover
The Meghalaya AIDS Control Society (MACS) will organise a handover ceremony of an outreach vehicle to the Meghalaya State Network of Positive People to strengthen HIV/AIDS service delivery across the state. The event will take place at the MACS office at 11 am and will be graced by Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh, who will formally hand over the vehicle.

General meeting
The first general meeting to form the Gorkha Pathshala Alumni Association will be held at the school auditorium at 2.30 pm on June 29. Past pupils (who studied in the school for at least 2 years) have been invited to attend the meeting.

Condolence
Shillong Socio-Cultural Assamese Students’ Association has condoled the demise of Bina Bhattacharya, mother of Dr Samujjal Bhattacharya, who was the chief advisor of All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) and North East Students’ Union (NESO). In a statement issue here, the association expressed solidarity with the bereaving Bhattacharya family. Late Bina Bhattacharya’s selfless devotion and gentle guidance to her family will forever remain a source of strength and inspiration, it said.
