SHILLONG, July 3: The state government has decided to redevelop the Brightwell Bungalow Compound at Barik Point at a cost of over Rs 12 crore. The project is expected to be completed in 15 months.
Last year, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma had conducted an inspection of the site, and announced that the government has identified close to 25 acres of land for beautification and decongestion.
