Arshad Warsi returns to host Bigg Boss after 18 long years
Bigg Boss season 19’s Weekend Ka Vaar has been the highest USP of the hit TV reality show. This week around, the host of the show, Salman Khan, will be seen giving the Weekend Ka Vaar a miss. The responsibility of setting things straight in the Bigg Boss house will be helmed by none other than Bollywood stars Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar. The host channel of the TV reality show shared a video on their social media account in announcing the same. This is not the first time that Akshay Kumar or Arshad Warsi will be seen appearing on Bigg Boss. Akshay had appeared on the season back during the 11th season of the show, during its grand finale. Talking about Arshad Warsi, not many know that the reality show’s first host ever was none other than Arshad Warsi. Bigg Boss season 1 was hosted by Arshad Warsi in the year 2006 and was aired on Sony TV. The season hosted by Arshad Warsi saw Rakhi Sawant, Kashmera Shah, Sambhavana Seth, Rupali Ganguly, amongst others, as contestants. The season 1 was won by bollywood actor Rahul Roy. (IANS)
Milind Soman does push-ups on train, wife shares video
Bollywood actor and fitness enthusiast Milind Soman is synonymous with fitness and always makes it a point to motivate his fans to stay fit through his social media posts and videos. Recently Milind Soman was seen doing push-ups while travelling in a train. His wife, Ankita Konwar, shared a video of Milind busy with his fitness game. She captioned it as, “The 1000000th thing I like about you: The world is literally your playground.” Recently, Milind informed his fans that he had successfully completed the Ironman triathlon held in Estonia with Ankita Konwar. Sharing a picture of himself with Ankita flaunting their medals, also accompanied by a few motivational photos and videos from the event, he expressed, “Aaaand weee did iiiiiit!!!! Ankita and I completed the Ironman 70.3, commonly known as the half Ironman, in beautiful Tallinn, Estonia. 🙂 1.9 km swim in super cold water, freezing rainy weather throughout the 90 km cycle ride and finally the 21 km run on tired legs, but Ankita completed it in a very good time of 7 hrs 5 min; so proud of her, and I (as usual) finished 5 seconds before the cutoff!!” (IANS)
Keanu Reeves-starrer Good Fortune to hit theatres in Indian on Oct 17
Keanu Reeves-starrer “Good Fortune” directed by Aziz Ansari is all set to release in the theaters in India on October 17. Talking about playing Gabriel, Reeves said: “Gabriel had the impression that he could make a difference. He thought he could find a lost soul, use his power to show a person the future, and then they would suddenly have a sensitivity to his or her life. He added: “Instead, he learned, through being a human, that each of us is not alone, that the journey is about our friends and loved ones, and our connections to other people that bring value and authenticity to all of our lives.” Speaking about how Reeves joined the cast, Ansari shared: “Keanu Reeves name came up, and I was stunned as he’s such a big star.” “I met him and immediately knew, this has to be Keanu and once Keanu expressed interest in playing him, the character really came to life and developed into this loveable, unique personality, with a rich arc throughout the film.” The synopsis of the film reads: In the film, a well-meaning but hilariously inept angel named Gabriel meddles in the lives of a struggling gig worker and a wealthy venture capitalist. What begins as a heavenly lesson about the limits of money soon spirals out of control, with Gabriel facing consequences that even the divine didn’t foresee. (IANS)
