TURA: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tura Municipal Board (TMB), Z J Sangma has directed all traders, shopkeepers, commercial vehicle owners and business establishments who stopped functioning on August 14 and 15 in view of the bandh called by the GNLA to file their affidavit in Court.
Earlier, show cause notices were also issued but the traders did not reply to it and instead issued a counter statement in the media claiming that TMB officials themselves had kept the Tura Super Market and the Ringrey Marketing Hub closed preventing them from opening their shops.
“In compliance with the order of the High Court you are directed to file an affidavit in a proper format in the District and Sessions Court, Tura,” the new directive read.
