SHILLONG: The Rangbah Shnong of Mawlynnong Thomlin Khongthohrem has clarified that the teacher M. Kephrin Kharlatang, who was allegedly involved in the molestation of a minor school girl of CNI.L.P. School Mawlynnong is not a resident of Mawlynnong village.
Kharlatang along with his family members live by themselves at their own piece of land called ‘Latang-Riwan’ which lies on the Mawlynnong- Pongtung road, the Rangbah Shnong said, while adding that the accused had never stayed overnight at Mawlynnong but returned to his place every day after school hours.
