BSF seizes logs

SHILLONG: The troops of 11 Bn BSF deployed at Dulainala, South West Khasi Hills seized 196.78 Cft of logs with two Bolero Pickup vehicles worth around Rs 17 lakhs. When the BSF party patrolling near zero line noticed the suspected vehicles they challenged the drivers to stop. Upon being chased, the drivers fled leaving the vehicles behind.
The BSF party seized both the vehicles along with the logs. The consignment brought from the nearby forest area of Mawsynram was being smuggled to Bangladesh through Naukaria Nullah.
