P N Syiem quits Congress

SHILLONG: After quitting as MLA, KHADC CEM and suspended Congress member P N Syiem resigned from the party on Saturday. In a letter addressed to the MPCC president DD Lapang, Syiem said, “I hereby tender my resignation from the membership of the Congress party with effect from December 16”. Syiem will formally join the new political party, PDF in Polo Grounds on Tuesday.
