JOWAI: With the news spreading around Khliehriat Legislative Assembly Constiuency in East Jaintia Hills that the BJP has denied party ticket to sitting MDC, Violet Lyngdoh, her supporters have decided to resigne from the party.
Lyngdoh is the sister the State BJP president and an  aspirant BJP candidate from Khliehriat.
She contested the last District Council Election from the UDP and left it to join the BJP after she had been elected as an MDC.
Lyngdoh has formed 46 boot level committees who have decided to support her in the forthcoming Assembly election.
Sources informed that all her supporters from all these 46 booth level committees will resign from the party.
The decision was taken based on the information they have received that the BJP has allotted the party ticket to sitting MLA, Justine Dkhar who had resigned from the Assembly last month.
The BJP reportedly selected its poll candidates last night and the same is yet to be declared.
Sources also informed that Lyngdoh might contest from the NPP .
