SHILLONG: Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic (Hq) East Khasi Hills D.K Prasad was conferred with the Vocational Excellence Award 2017-2018 in an award ceremony organised by Rotary Club of Shillong on Sunday.
He was awarded in recognition of his outstanding contribution in the field of community service during his tenure as OC Sadar police station.
Besides him, seven other people from different fields were also recognised for their services. Prasad is also the recipient of the Indian President Medal for meritorious service, Governor’s Medal and Appreciation Award 2017 presented by the district administration.
