TURA: With the objective to encourage scientific temperament in the young minds of the school students and in the process enabling them to solve local problems through the application of Science, the 26th National Children‘s Science Congress at the district level was organised for the students of North Garo Hills district at Resubelpara Government UP School on Friday.
Deputy Commissioner, SC Sadhu while inaugurating the event said such event will help broaden the understanding of science and provide opportunity for the children to exhibit their talents by participating in science related activities such as project documentation, oral and posters presentation.
Schools selected to represent the district at the state level were Resubelpara Government Higher Secondary School, Paschal Secondary School at the senior level and Montfort School and Paschal Secondary School at the junior level.
