SHILLONG: The Congress has targeted the ruling NPP for converting the office of BDO, Selsella into a party office.
The Selsella seat is vacant after the sitting Clement Marak passed away on October 8. The political parties are yet to name their candidates. During the special assembly session on Tuesday, Opposition Leader Mukul Sangma said the officers are bearing the brunt of the misrule of NPP led MDA government. He also cited a few cases of political interference in matters related to governance.
