Three passengers of a Maruti 800 local taxi bound for Shillong sustained injuries when the vehicle was involved in a head on collision with another local taxi coming from the opposite direction at Mawngap Marbisu under Mawphlang Block, East Khasi Hills on May 5 at 3.12pm. Injured persons were identified as Marybell Nongsiej (25years/female), Westing Nongkhlaw (34years/male) and Nithew Thama (37years/female) to Nazareth Hospital.
A driver of a truck sustained injuries when the vehicle overturned at Sumer under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District on May 5 at 2:51 P.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Umsning helped in shifting Gurdeep Singh (45years/male) to Umsning C.H.C.
