TURA: A 44-year old person identified as Noresh Koch committed suicide inside Tura police station lock-up on Thursday.
Koch, an accused in a theft case, caught by public at 13th Mile, on the road between Dobasipara and Kherapara and was later handed over to police.
According to police, the accused had entered the toilet located inside his cell block at the police station to attend to the call of nature. However, when he failed to come out police personnel opened the cell only to find him dead.
