Missing Laban resident’s body found floating in Umiam Lake

SHILLONG, Sep 21: The body of 48-year-old Saumitra Chakraborty, a resident of Laban who went missing from Laban on September 19, was found floating in Umiam Lake on Saturday.
According to the police, the body was identified by the relatives and the post-mortem examination is scheduled for Sunday.
