State Convention Centre set for Rs 15-cr facelift

SHILLONG, Sep 11: The State Convention Centre in Shillong is set to be renovated at a cost of more than Rs 15 crore.
The Meghalaya Tourism Development Corporation has issued the tender for interior renovation of the State Convention Centre at a cost of Rs 15.03 crore.
The interior renovation includes civil, electrical, plumbing, furnishing, lighting, wall art and installation of ACs.
The convention centre, constructed at a cost of Rs 23.21 crore, was inaugurated in 2012-13.
