SHILLONG, April 15: The Thirty-Seventh Interim Report has been filed by Justice (retd) B.P. Katakey Committee in connection with the PIL on illegal coal mining and transportation in Meghalaya.
The High Court of Meghalaya took the report on record on Wednesday. A status report was also filed on Wednesday itself by the state respondents.
However, due to the paucity of time to examine the status report, the bench of Justices Hamarsan Singh Thangkhiew and Wanlura Diengdoh listed the matter for hearing on April 27.
