SHILLONG, May 3: The Manipuri Elders’ Consortium Shillong (MECS) commemorated the third anniversary of the conflict in Manipur with a discussion titled ‘Manipur and Meitei: The Road Ahead’ in Laitumkhrah on Sunday.
According to a statement here, the programme was attended by members of the Meitei community residing in and around Shillong.
Participants shared their perspectives on safeguarding the community and explored ways to restore lasting peace in Manipur.
