SHILLONG: A case of molestation of a minor school girl by her teacher has surfaced in Mahendraganj, South West Garo Hills District.
Police informed that the family of a thirteen-year-old girl lodged a complaint at Mahendraganj PS that on November 20 while she was writing her paper for the Class IV final examination in Boisyroypara Ad hoc LP School at Mahendraganj, one teacher Md. Rumi Miah, allegedly molested her.
In another incident, a four-year-old girl was raped by one juvenile (17) at Mynska village in West Jaintia Hills District on Nov 28.
