Two murdered in Jaintia Hills

JOWAI: The body of a 50-year-old Noris Amkhloo of Borghat village in Jaintia Hills was found on the roadside in the village on Wednesday morning.

Sources informed that Amkhloo, a farmer, was on his way to work when some unknown miscreant attacked him with a sharp weapon. He was hit on his head and neck.

In another incident, one Md. Abdul Manas (27) was allegedly killed by one Md. Makrisur Rahman at a coal mine located at Wahsohphoh under the jurisdiction of Sohkhymphor village. A triangular love affair resulted in the murder, sources said
