JORHAT: A powerful bomb was recovered from an unclaimed bag in a bus in Assam’s Jorhat district on Friday, police said.Acting on a tip-off, police stopped the Jorhat-bound Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) bus at Teok and recovered the bomb, weighing more than two kgs, from a bag.Police detained the driver and conductor of the bus which was coming from Sonari in Sibsagar to Jorhat.The bomb was later defused. (PTI)
