SHILLONG: The people of Shillong took to the streets on Wednesday as a mark of support to Anna Hazare and his team in the campaign for corruption free country.
The rally which was called by the Mait Shaphrang Movement (MSM), CSWO and Art of Living on Wednesday started from SBI main branch and culminated at Madan Iewrynghep ground, Fire brigade.
Like in any parts of the country, people in large numbers participating in the campaign for a corruption free country led by Anna Hazare.
demanding from the centre for a stronger Lok Pal bill, the same participation was witnessed in the capital city here wherein people in large number were seen participating.
